The Pride Basketball League, Women’s+ Division is excited to start our Spring 2026 season! We request that all players read the FULL program description below as it contains important registration and season information.
Registration Info:
This season, priority registration will be given to all board members, confirmed captains, player award winners, and champions. There will be an open registration for all players (returning and new) until spots are filled:
- January 20, 2026
7:00 PM: A Division
8:00 PM: B Division
9:00 PM: C Division
Required Reading:
Location: We will conduct our full season at The Post Dobbin (100 Dobbin St., Brooklyn, NY 11222)
Registration Fee: The registration fee for all players for the Spring 2026 season is $217. Your registration fee includes ten (10) guaranteed games (and the opportunity for additional games through playoffs), referees, scorekeepers, a t-shirt, and social events throughout the season. The price also includes liability and accident insurance for players.
Divisions: Please only register for the division that fits your playing history and skill level. The Board reserves the right to move players up and down based on player history and evaluations. IF the division that you intend to register for is full, make sure to sign up for the waitlist for that division. DO NOT register for a different division, duplicate registrations will be deleted. The Board reserves the right to request more information and/or deregister players as necessary.
Absence Policy: If you plan to miss three or more weeks of the season, we strongly request that you do not register. Consider registering for a future season when you are able to commit to attend weekly!
Ghosting Policy: If a player misses two weeks and neglects to contact their captain, they may be removed from the team without a refund (at the Board’s discretion).
Refund Policy: The Board reserves the right to refuse a refund. Refunds and prorated refunds will only be given to players IF a replacement player is identified to replace them. After Week 2, the Board will NOT issue refunds. There will be a 2% fee, charged to the player, for each refund due to LeagueApps fees.
- Player Evaluations & Draft: The player evaluations will take place on Sunday, January 25th, from 12:00-2:00 PM. The draft will take place after player evaluations.
ALL new players are required to attend evaluations. No exceptions will be made. New players who do not attend evaluations will automatically be deregistered.
Returning players are required to attend if they would like to be considered for new divisions or if they have not played in the last two seasons (Fall 2025 and Spring 2025) Players who do not attend evaluations will automatically be deregistered.
An email with detailed information will be sent to all new players when registration ends.
Divisions:

A Division: The majority of players played in college and/or extremely competitively in high school; our most competitive division.
B Division: The majority of players played in high school and/or lower collegiate levels; competitive division.
C Division: The majority of players are novice players who are working on developing their playing skills and basketball IQ through guidance from referees during officiated games.
Spring 2026 Season Update:
Due to the Winter Storm Warning in New York City, we’ve made the decision to postpone evaluations scheduled for Sunday, January 25, and adjust our schedule to ensure everyone’s safety.
Below is the updated plan moving forward:

- Sunday, March 1 - PBLNYC Regular Season: Week 2
- Sunday, March 8 - PBLNYC Regular Season: Week 3
- Sunday, March 15 - PBLNYC Regular Season: Week 4
- Sunday, March 22 - PBLNYC Regular Season: Week 5
- Sunday, March 29 - PBLNYC Regular Season: Week 6
- Sunday, April 5 – PBLNYC Regular Season: Week 7 (this will replace the originally scheduled Open Gym)
- Sunday, April 12 - PBLNYC Regular Season: Week 8
- Sunday, April 19 - PBLNYC Regular Season: Week 9
- Sunday, April 26 - PBLNYC Playoffs: Week 1
- Sunday, May 3 - PBLNYC Playoffs: Week 2
- Sunday, May 17 - PBLNYC Championships & All-Star Games
- Sunday, May 10 or Saturday, May 31 – Open Gym (we will confirm the final date by the end of February.)
Important Information for Rookies:
Evaluations are required for all new players. Rookies must attend evaluations on February 8 in order to be placed on a team for the Spring 2026 season. If a rookie is unable to attend on this date, they will unfortunately need to be de-registered for this season.
